The 2006 Conference on Computational Physics Conference will be held from August 29 to September 1 at Gyeongju Hyundai Hotel in Republic of Korea.

The Conference is organized by the Committee of Computational Physics of Korean Physical Society.

CCP continues the series of the APS-EPS "Physics Computing" (Boston 1989, Amsterdam 1990, San Jose 1991, Prague 1992, Albuquerque 1993, Lugano 1994, Pittsburgh 1995, Krakow 1996, Santa Cruz 1997) and is periodically alternating since 1998 between Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific (Granada 1998, Atlanta 1999, Brisbane 2000, Aachen 2001, San Diego 2002, Beijing 2003, Genova 2004, Los Angeles 2005).

CCP is supported by IUPAP, AAPPS, APS and EPS and is one of the most versatile conferences in computational science world-wide. The number of attendees varies between 500 and 600.

The Conference will comprise 2 plenary sessions and 8 parallel sessions per day, and 2 poster sessions. The Program Committee together with the International Advisory Committee will select as keynote speakers the researchers who have obtained important results with use of computers while it will accept contributions from experts in computational physics.

CCP 2006 is sponsored by

Korean Physical Society,
Association of Asia-Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS),
American Physical Society (APS),
European Physical Society (EPS),
International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP)
